This Geography based topic teaches children about the physical and human characteristics of the United Kingdom, including a detailed exploration of the characteristics and features of the capital city, London.
In this Science topic, children develop their knowledge of technology, space and materials. Children will learn how to design and make model spaceships, considering the properties of materials. They might even meet an alien!
All creatures great and small
In this Geography topic, children will be developing map skills and learning about different animals and how they are cared for. Look out for the big cats!
In this History topic, children learn about changes over time, family and community. This topic develops children’s knowledge and appreciation of local history, special memories, customs and traditions, and growing up. What is your favourite memory?
In this roaring History topic, children will develop knowledge of prehistory. Children will learn about dinosaurs and fossils, and the amazing discoveries of palaeontologists.
Children will develop their knowledge of British wildlife and woodland habitats. Children will observe and identify plants and animals, understand the weather and seasonal changes. Get your walking boots on!
