About Meadow

Meadow Primary School is part of the Bourne Academy Trust and is a three-form entry primary school.

There are three classes of 30 children in each year group, making twenty-one classes in all. The school started in September 2008 as the result of the amalgamation of Sparrow Farm Community Junior School and Stoneleigh First School – two very successful schools.

In September 2022, Meadow Primary opened a Nursery on site, providing provision for 2-4 year olds. Nursery hours are 9am-3pm.

There is also a breakfast and after school care club on site.

The school is housed in one, two-storey building with substantial playgrounds and playing field facilities and a secluded swimming pool.

The school works in four-phase groups:

  • Early Years (Nursery and Reception)
  • Key Stage 1 (Years 1 and  2)
  • Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4)
  • Upper Key Stage 2 (Years 5 and 6)
