Well done to all those children who are remembering to read regularly. We expect children to read at home at least 4 times a week. We have been really impressed with the number of children trying hard to do this and we have been monitoring the number of words read by each class over the last half term. Congratulations to Parrot Class in Year 2 who had read the most words in Key Stage 1 (298,365 words!) and to Owl Class in Year 2 who had completed the most quizzes (242).
Congratulations also to 4B in Key Stage 2, who had read an average of 90,033 words per child over the last half term.
Sarim is the first child to join our Millionnaire Reader's Club - having read over 1 million words already this year. We are excited to see who will join him as the year progresses.
