The free course we ran again for parents in partnership with Surrey Care Trust and Nescot College was very successful, with those attending giving great feed back. Topics included resuscitation, choking, fractures, burns, bleeding, and many of the common ailments and conditions we all encounter in life. Training was run for parents to explain the difference between the old curriculum and the new curriculum which has been implemented in years 1,3,4 and 5 in 2014 and in year 2 and 6 from September 2015. The training also shared details of the new in school assessment system that has been developed alongside other schools and the local authority.
